This uncirculated 5 Canadian dollar note is part of the Birds of Canada series introduced by the Bank of Canada in 1986. It is a purple, blue, yellow, and green note that bears the signatures of Bernard Bonin and Gordan George Thiessen, is dated 1986, and measures 152 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the 7th Canadian Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier, the national coat of arms, and the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. Its reverse side features the belted kingfisher perched on a branch overlooking a marsh. The note does not have a watermark or a watermark.
