The Canada 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 1986. It has hints of purple, blue, yellow, and green. On its obverse is seventh prime minister, Wilfred Laurier wearing a suit. It also shows the coat of arms of Canada and Parliament buildings in Ottawa. The reverse depicts a belted kingfisher (Martin-pecheur) perched on a branch overlooking a marsh. The note does not have a security thread and watermark, however, it is signed by Malcom D. Knight and David Allison Dodge. It is 152 x 70 mm in size. This particular banknote is in used condition.
