The 5 Canadian dollar note is part of the Canadian Journey series. It bears the year 2006 and the signatures of Deputy Governor W. Paul Jenkins and Governor Mark Carney. Its color scheme is blue, purple, yellow, orange, and green. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts. Its obverse side contains English and French text, the Canadian emblem, the West Block of the Parliament in Ottawa, the Canadian flag, and a portrait of Henri Charles Wilfrid Laurier, the 7th Prime Minister of Canada. Its reverse side depicts children playing in the snow. The security features of the note include a holographic stripe, a gold-to-green color shifting windowed security thread with demetalized 5 CAN, and a watermark of Wilfrid Laurier and an electrotype 5. The note measures 152 mm long and 70 mm wide. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
