Reviews:

The Canada 50 dollars banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2012 using polymer substrate instead of paper-cotton. The obverse features William Lyon Mackenzie who was the 10th Prime Minister of Canada. The reverse displays the Arctic research icebreaker Canadian Coast Guard Ship Amundsen. It also shows Arctic in Inuktitut, a compass, and the map of Canada. Furthermore, both the front and back have a maple leaf as a registration device. The banknote has a holographic stripe bearing a portrait of William Lyon Mackenzie and the tower of Center Block Parliament in Ottawa.
