The Canada 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada in 2012. The banknote is predominantly red and is printed on polymer. Its reverse side depicts the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Amundsen. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, the note has a holographic stripe that shows William Lyon Mackenzie King and the tower of the Center Block of the Parliament in Ottawa. It is 152 mm x 70 mm in size and is signed by Macklem and Wilkins. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
