This uncirculated 50 Canadian dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Canada in 2012. It is a red banknote that bear the signatures of Carolyn A. Wilkins and Tiff Macklem, and measures 152 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a maple leaf and the portrait of the 10th Prime Minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King. Its reverse side depicts the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Amundsen. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, the note has a holographic stripe that shows William Lyon Mackenzie King and the tower of the Center Block of the Parliament in Ottawa.
