Reviews:

The Cape Verde 1,000 Escudos was issued by the Bank of Cape Verde in 2007. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. Both the obverse and reverse are in a vertical orientation and Portuguese text. The obverse of the banknote features Cape Verdean writer and professor Antonio Aurelio Goncalvez, a medallion composed of dragon tree leaves, and a holographic inkwell with a quill. The reverse of the note depicts the scenery of Chanzinha which includes a dragon tree on the island of Sao Nicolau. The banknote bears a hand holding a pen as its registration device. It also has a solid security thread and a 4-mm windowed security thread with a demetalized BCV 1000. Furthermore, the 136 x 66 mm paper bill has a watermark that shows Antonio Aurelio Goncalvez with an electrotype 1000.
