The Cape Verde 100 Escudos with a pick number P-54 was issued by the Bank of Cape Verde to commemorate its first anniversary. The banknotes obverse features Amilcar Cabral who was a nationalist leader. It also depicts a bow and a stringed cimboa musical instrument, a pano cloth design, and the coat of arms of Cape Verde. The reverse boasts Mount Cano which is also known as Fogo Volcano. Displayed on its left side are coffee berries on their branches. The 137 x 68 mm banknote bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a portrait of Amilcar Cabral. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
