The Cape Verde 100 Escudos was issued by the Bank of Cape Verde in 1989 with a pick number P-57. The banknotes obverse features a new portrait of Amilcar Cabral. Its reverse depicts Mount Cano in the background. It also displays men with drums and women with a big mortar and pestle celebrating the Festival of the Pestle. Additionally, the banknotes reverse shows the coat of arms of Cape Verde. The 122 x 67 mm paper bill bears a registration device in the form of an ear of corn. It also carries a solid security thread with printed BCV. Its watermark reflects an image of Amilcar Cabral. This Cape Verde 100 Escudos is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
