Cape Verde 2,000 Escudos Banknote, 2014, P-74, UNC

The Cape Verde 2,000 Escudos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Cape Verde in 2014. It has a color combination of peach, light blue, brownish-red, and green. Its obverse features musical notes on the staff, singer Cesaria Evora, and an embossed turtle. The reverse depicts a violin and a sun over the ocean. The note contains a registration device in the form of feet. It also has a holographic stripe with a demetallized microphone and musical notes, a 4-mm windowed security thread with demetallized BCV 2000 and microphone, and a watermark that reveals Cesaria Evora with an electrotype microphone and cornerstones. It is 142 x 71 mm in size and is signed by Carlos Augusto de Burgo and Manuel Pinto Frederico. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
