This uncirculated 200 Cape Verdean escudo banknote is a specimen banknote issued by the Bank of Cape Verde in 2019. It is an orange banknote that is dated 06 September 2019, bears the signatures of Bank Administrator Antonia Lopes and Bank Governor Dr. Joao Antonio Pinto Coelho Serra, and measures 124 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side contains a map of Fogo, a bunch of grapes, an embossed pen nib, a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a horizontal red # overprint, an all-zero serial number, and a portrait of doctor and writer Henrique Teixeira de Sousa. Its reverse side shows a bunch of grapes, the Pico do Fogo stratovolcano, and a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BCV 200 and a watermark of Henrique Teixeira de Sousa and Cornerstones.
