This uncirculated 5,000 Cape Verdean escudo note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Cape Verde. It is a purple, light blue, orange, and yellow note that is dated 05 July 2014, bear the signatures of Carlos Augusto de Burgo and Manuel Pinto Frederico, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features Aristides Maria Pereira, stylized waves, embossed map of Africa, and islands superimposed on a house exterior. Its reverse side shows a stylized wave, the map of Boa Vista, and a view of Boa Vista. Security features include a holographic security thread with printed BCV, Aristides Maria, and the home of Aristides.
