Cape Verde 500 Escudos Banknote, 2007, P-69, UNC

This green, yellow, and red 500 escudo banknote from Cape Verde bears the date 25 de Fevereiro de 2007, the 170th birthday of Roberto Duarte Silva, a notable Cape Verdean chemist. His portrait is shown on the obverse side of the note. On the reverse side of the note shows the sugar cane press island of Santo Antao. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Security features of the note include a solid security thread, a 4-mm windowed security thread with demetalized BCV 500, and a watermark of Roberto Duarte Silva with electrotype 500. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
