Cape Verde 5,000 Escudos Banknote, 2000, P-67, UNC

This uncirculated 5,000 Cape Verdean escudo banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Cape Verde. It is a red banknote that is dated 5 July 2000, bear the signatures of Vasco Marta and Olavo Avelino Garcia Correia, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Both sides of the banknote are vertically oriented. Its obverse side shows a woman carrying large stones on her head and a gold holographic patch. Its reverse side depicts the main gate of Fortaleza Real- Cidade Velha (Royal Fortress- Old City) in Ribeira Grande. Security features include a solid security thread, a 4-mm windowed security thread with a demetalized BCV 5000, a cannon registration device, and a watermark of a woman with an electrotype 5000.
