Cayman Islands 1 Dollar Banknote, 2018, P-38e.1, UNC

The Cayman Islands 1 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority in 2018. It has hints of violet, sea blue, and orange. Its obverse features Queen Elizabeth II and the coat of arms of the Cayman Islands. It also shows angel fish and a map. The reverse depicts the Bluff on Cayman Brac and a nautilus shell. The note contains a 1.4-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetallized CAYMAN ISLANDS and a watermark that reveals a turtle, an electrotype CIMA, and Cornerstones. It measures 156 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Roy McTaggart. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
