The Central African States 1,000 Franc banknote was issued by the Bank of the Central African States in 2000 for one of its member countries, Equatorial Guinea. On the front side of the note are the map of the Central African States, women harvesting coffee beans, a boy with a basket, and a portrait of a young man. The reverse of the note depicts men riding on an Okoume raft, a forest harvesting activity, and a Bakele wood mask. The note is 150 x 75 mm in size and is made of paper. It bears a watermark that depicts the head of a young man. This particular banknote is of exceptional paper quality and has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
