It is a blue, green, and yellow banknote that is dated 2002, bear the signatures of Abbas Mahamat Tolli and Louis Aleka-Rybert, and measures 145 mm long and 55 mm wide. Its obverse side features a man looking at ships docking at the port. Its reverse side depicts an oil pumping station.
