The Central African States 500 Franc banknote was released in 2000 by the Bank of Central African States for its member state - Equatorial Guinea. The banknotes obverse features zebu cattle, a watering hole, the map of the Central African States, and an in-profile portrait of a shepherd wearing a hat. The reverse of the note features a baobab tree, antelopes, and a Kota mask. The note comes in dark brown with hints of gray. It is composed of paper with underprint in multicolor and displays a shepherd as its watermark. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
