The Central African States 10,000 Franc banknote was released by the Bank of Central African States in 1999 for its member nation, the Central African Republic. The banknotes obverse features a modern building at the center and a portrait of a woman on the right. The back of the note depicts villagers, boats, and fishermen at the beach. The banknote is 160 x 80 mm in size and is made of paper. It bears a solid security thread and a segmented foil stripe. It also carries a watermark that reflects a young woman with plaits.
