The Central African States - Congo 10,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the Bank of Central African States for Congo. The obverse of the note depicts the Banque des Etats de l’Afrique Centrale headquarters in Yaounde, Cameroun. It also shows a young woman with braided hair. The reverse has transport and communication theme displaying an airplane, a train locomotive, a railway with semaphore signals, and a satellite dish. The note bears a watermark that reveals three antelopes’ heads and an electrotype BEAC. It also has a windowed security thread w/ demetalized BEAC. The banknote measures 150 x 80 mm and is signed by Abbas Mahamat Tolli and Louis Aleka-Rybert. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
