Chile 5,000 Pesos Banknote, 2008, P-155g, UNC

The Chile 5,000 Pesos was issued by the Central Bank of Chile in 2008 with a pick number P-155g. The note comes in red, green, brown, and pink color combinations. Its obverse features writer and poet Lucila de Maria del Perpetuo Socorro Godoy Alcayaga who was popularly known by her pseudonym Gabriela Mistral. The note also depicts a statue of a seated woman with children. The reverse displays PREMIO NOBEL 1945 and a standing allegorical woman holding a lyre and a seated allegorical man with a paper and pencil. The 145 x 70 mm paper bill has a watermark that reflects Gabriela Mistral. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
