This China 1 Jiao Banknote was released by the Peoples Bank of China in 1980 highlighting various ethnic communities of the country. The note is in brown with hints of orange, yellow, and lime. On its obverse is a portrait of Gaoshan and Manchu men in national dress. The reverse depicts the coat of the Peoples Republic of China. The 115 x 52 mm paper bill bears Chinese text on the front while the back is in Mongolian, Tibetan, Ulyghur, and Zhang. Printed by China Banknote Printing and Minting, the China 1 Jiao banknote has no security thread and watermark. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
