The China 100 Yuan banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2005 with pick number 907. This banknote is graded PMG 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its front side shows Mao Zedong who is the founding father of the Peoples Republic of China. The upper left has the National Emblem of China which displays 5 stars above the renowned Tiananmen Square or the Gate of Heavenly Peace. The obverse also has an orchid flower which is known as Prunus mume. The back of this 155 x 77 mm banknote depicts the Great Hall of the People. Furthermore, when the banknote is held up to a light source, the denomination in Arabic numerals can be found.
