The China 5 Jiao Banknote was issued in 1980 by the Peoples Bank of China depicting the ethnic groups of the nation. The 125 x 58 mm paper bill comes in maroon with shades of purple, red, orange, and brown. Its obverse is in Chinese and features Miao and Zhuang women wearing traditional dress. The reverse of the note bears Mongolian, Tibetan, Ulyghur, and Zhang text and displays the emblem of the Peoples Republic of China at its center. The note was printed by China Banknote Printing and Minting with no security threads and watermarks. This particular China 5 Jiao is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
