This black, green, red, and pink 50 sen note is part of the dragon and cockerel series issued by the Greater Japan Imperial Government as a military payment certificate for their Chinese territories. Its obverse side depicts a dragon flying through the clouds and a round seal. Its reverse side contains guilloches. The note does not have a security thread. However, it has a quatrefoil pattern watermark. Its dimensions are 121 mm by 58 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition.
