The Taiwan 100 Yuan banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank in 2000. It comes in brown and red combinations and is 145 x 70 mm in size. Its obverse features Sun Yat-sen and The Chapter of Great Harmony by Confucius. The back of the note depicts the Chung Shan building in Taipei and plum blossoms. The banknote bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized 100. It also has a watermark that reflects plum blossoms and an electrotype 100.
