This uncirculated 1,000 Pesos Colombia note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. It is a blue and brown note that is dated 1995, bear the signatures of Miguel Urrutia Montoya and Fernando Copete Saldarriaga, and measures 140 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features a statue, Puente de Boyacá (Boyacá bridge), eternal f lame, and Simon Bolivar wearing a military uniform. Its reverse side shows the Liberty head bank seal, horseback lanceros (lancers) statue detail, sculptor Rodrigo Arenas Betancur’s Los Héroes del Pantano de Vargas (The Heroes of Vargas Swamp) memorial near Paipa, Boyacá. Security features include a solid security thread, a solid security thread with printed BRC 1000, and a watermark of Simon Bolivar.
