This is a specimen note of the Colombia Diez Mil Pesos. The Colombia Diez Mil is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank of the Republic in 2014 with a pick number P-453. The banknote features on its obverse heroine Policarpa Salavarrieta who spied for the Revolutionary Forces. The banknotes reverse displays Escena de Mercado which is an 1846 painting by Edward Walhouse Mark depicting a goat, a sheep, and people in the village of Guaduas. The Liberty head bank seal is also shown on the bottom right. The 140 x 70 mm paper bill is designed with one plain security thread and one with a demetalized BRC 10000. Additionally, the banknote has a watermark that reflects Policarpa Salavarrieta.
