This uncirculated 2,000 Colombian peso banknote is a standard banknote issued by the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. It is an orange, green, blue, and yellow banknote that is dated 17 August 2012, bear the signatures of Jose Dario Uribe Escobar and Jose Tolosa Buitrago, and measures 130 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side shows a triangle symbol for the blind, a depiction of a bird flying over a marsh, and a portrait of Francisco de Paula Santander in a military uniform. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Casa de Moneda (mint) building and reinforced door. Security features include a plain solid security thread, a solid security thread with a demetalized BRC 2000, a Braille script on the watermark area, a coat of arms registration device, and a watermark of Francisco de Paula Santander with an electrotype fancy S script.
