The Colombia 2,000 Pesos was issued in 2015 by the Central Bank of Colombia highlighting the countrys biodiversity, culture, and landscapes. Its obverses center is the Colombian artist Debora Arango Perez standing and on the right is her close-up image. Other elements shown on the front side are lechoso or Perebea xanthochyma tree leaves and fruit presented in copper-to-green Optically Variable Ink, 13 de Junio, the denomination in OVI that shifts from dark to light blue, and La bailarina Guillermina. On the back of the banknote is the Cano Cristales which is the river of five colors nestled in the Sierra de la Macarena, an excerpt of an interview of Debora Arango Perez from the Debora en plural book, birds of different kinds in flight, and the bank logo depicting the head of Liberty. The banknote bears registration devices that reflect a bird from the painting by Debora Perez "Las Monjas y El Cardinal" and BRC. The 128 x 66 mm paper banknote has a Fuschia-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BRC and birds. It also has a watermark that consists of Debora Arango Perez and an electrotype 2. This particular Colombia 2,000 Pesos is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
