The Colombia 2,000 pesos is part of the family of notes that features Colombias culture and landscapes. This series of banknotes also comes with touch-sensitive elements that aid the sight impaired. This particular bill is in uncirculated condition. Centered on the obverse of the note is an image of the artist Deborah Arango Perez standing and on its right is her close-up photo. The banknotes registration device are BRC and a bird from Perez paintaing, Las Monjas y El Cardinal. Also on the obverse are the denomination in dark blue-to-light blue Optically Variable Ink (OVI) lechoso tree leaves and fruit that are in cooper-to-green OVI, 13 de junio, and La bailarina Guillermina. The reverse of this 128 x 66 mm paper bill highlights a river with 5 colors Cano de Cristales nestled in the Sierra de la Macarena. It also displays different birds in flight and an excerpt from an interview of Perez from the book Debora en plural. The Liberty head bank logo is also visible. This banknote has a fuschia-to-green windowed security thread with a demetallized birds and BRC. Furthermore, its watermarks consist of a portrait of Debora Arango Perez and an electrotype 2
