The obverse of the banknote features Jose Maria Cordova who served as the Colombian army general during the country’s war of independence from Spain. The reverse depicts the Castillo San Felipe de Barajas in Cartagena. It also shows the Liberty head bank logo. The banknote is 140 x 70 mm and is made of paper.
