This uncirculated 50,000 Colombian peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. It is a banknote that is dated 28 October 2019, bear the signatures of Juan Jose Echavarria and Marcela Ocampo, and measures 148 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side contains Spanish text, the denomination in dark blue-to-light blue OVI, a Colibri piquicorto (Ramphomicron dorsale) hummingbird and flower in green-to-blue SPARK Orbit, and two portraits of Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez—a close-up and a standing portrait with butterflies. Its reverse side shows two standing natives, the heart of the Tayrona culture in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and the Liberty head bank seal. Other security features include a BRC registration device, a nautilus shell registration device, a solid security thread, a yellow-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BRC, and a watermark of Gabriel Garcia Marquez with an electrotype 50.
