The Congo Democratic Republic 100 Francs specimen Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2007. It is predominantly blue and green and is presented in French. The obverse of the paper bill depicts an elephant in Parc Nacional de Virunga (Virunga National Park) and the bank monogram. The back of the note displays the Inga II hydroelectric dam on the Congo River. This paper bill contains a solid security thread with a demetallized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also bears a watermark in the form of an okapi’s head. The banknote is 150 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This specimen banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
