The Congo Democratic Republic 200 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2000. It has hints of purple, pink, and green. Featured on the obverse are the bank monogram, and a man and a woman with hoes. The reverse of the note are four men beating a large log drum (Le Gong Telegraphique) on a riverbank. The paper bill bears a solid security thread with a demetallized REP DEM DU CONGO and a watermark that reveals an okapi’s head. The note is 150 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This specimen banknote has a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint on both sides and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
