Reviews:

The Congo Democratic Republic 200 Francs Banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Congo in 2007. It has a color combination of purple, pink, and green. Featured on its obverse are a man and a woman with hoes. It also contains the bank monogram logo at the center. On the reverse are four men on the river bank, beating a large log drum, a practice known as Le Gong Telegraphique. This paper bill bears a solid security thread with a demetallized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also has a watermark that shows an okapi’s head and a registration device that reflects a 5-pointed star in a diamond. The note has dimensions of 150 x 70 mm and is in uncirculated condition. The note was printed by Giesecke & Devrient, Germany (barely visible at lower right on back) .
