The Congo Democratic Republic 5,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2020 bearing a radar serial number. The brown banknote bears French text. Its obverse features a Hemba statuette. The reverse depicts food (perhaps cassava bundles), two Congo peafowl birds, BCC and a map. It contains a windowed security thread with demetallized RD Congo and a watermark that reveals an okapi’s head and an electrotype 5000. The note is 146 x 72 mm in size. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
