Congo Democratic Republic 50 Francs Banknote, 2000, P-91s, UNC, Specimen

The Democratic Republic of Congo 50 Francs with a pick number P-91s was released in 2000 by the Central Bank of Congo. Centered on the obverse is the bank monogram logo while on the left is a Mwana pwo mask of the Tshokwe society. The banknotes reverse depicts men on a pirogue on the Congo River with fishing village huts in the background. The banknote has a registration device in the shape of a diamond with a 5-spiked star in the middle. Other security features of the note include a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO and a watermark that reflects an okapis head. The paper bill is 150 x 70 mm in size. This specimen note comes in uncirculated condition.
