This uncirculated 50 Congolese franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Congo that is dated 31 July 2007 and signed by Bank Governor Jean-Claude Masangu Mulongo. It is a brown and red banknote that measures 150 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the Tshokwe “Mwana pwo” mask and the bank monogram. Its reverse side depicts a fishing village on the Congo River. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO, a 5-pointed star in a diamond as a registration device, and an Okapi head watermark.
