The Congo Democratic Republic 50 Franc banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2013. The banknote comes in a combination of brown and red. Its obverse features the bank monogram and a Mwana pwo mask from the Tshokwe tribe. The reverse of the paper bill depicts fishing village huts and men on a pirogue on the Congo River. The paper bill is 150 x 70 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also has a watermark that reflects an okapis head and a registration device in the form of a 5-pointed star in a diamond. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
