This uncirculated 500 franc note from the Democratic Republic of Congo was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2013 and signed by Deogratias Mutombo Mwana Nyembo. Its obverse side shows a bank monogram, three diamonds, and a diamond that depicts diamond mining inside. Its reverse side depicts the effects of diamond mining in a small valley. Security features include a diamond with a five-pointed star registration device, a solid security thread with demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO, and an okapi head watermark.
