The Congo Democratic Republic 500 Francs with a pick number P-96 was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2013. Its obverse is the bank monogram on the center while on the right are three diamonds. On the left are two men holding pans and a man with a pick ax, searching for diamonds. The banknotes reverse displays diamond mining in a small valley with trees and a building on the river bank. The banknote is designed with a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO. It also bears a watermark that consists of an okapis head. Additionally, the 150 x 70 mm paper bill has a diamond with a 5-pointed star as its registration device. This particular Congo Democratic Republic 500 Francs is in uncirculated condition.
