This 10 dollar note from Cook Islands was introduced by the Government of Cook Islands in 1987. It is one of the few modern notes to feature a bare-breasted female. Though the note does not have a date, it is signed by Thomas Davis, the Minister of Finance. Its obverse side depicts the myth of Ina, the girl who rode on a shark to look for Tinirau. Its reverse side shows native designs and carved statues of the Cook Islands gods. Because the note was primarily printed for numismatic sales, it does not have a security thread nor a watermark. However, its dimensions are 150 mm by 75 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
