Reviews:

The red 1,000 Costa Rican Colon banknote is part of the series of banknotes that have embossed dots above the watermark area and whose designs were based on Fernando Zeledons illustrations. The obverse side includes Spanish text, a portrait of the former Head of State Braulio Carrillo Colina, the original Estado de Costa Rica shield, and a map of Costa Rica on a see-through leaf. Its reverse side portrays a white-tailed deer standing in a dry forest landscape in Guanacaste. The note has a simulated security thread and a watermark of leaves. The note was printed on a polymer by Guardian and measures 125 mm by 67 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition.
