This uncirculated Costa Rican colon note is dated 11.09.2013 and signed by President Rodrigo Bolaños Zamora and Banco Central de Costa Rica Manager Felix Delgado Quesada. It is a polymer note that is part of the series that have embossed dots above the watermark area and whose designs are based on illustrations by Fernando Zeledon. Its obverse side includes Spanish text, a portrait of the former Head of State Braulio Carrilo Colina, the Estado de Costa Rica shield, and a map of Costa Rica. Its reverse side features a white-tailed deer in a dry forest in Guanacaste. Security features of the note are a simulated security thread and a clear window with the head of Braulio Carillo Colina. The note has a red color scheme and dimensions of 125 mm x 67 mm. The features of the note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
