The Costa Rica 10,000 Colones Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 2014. Its obverse side shows a soldier with a rifle, the abolition of the army, a map of Costa Rica in OVI, and a portrait of Jose Figueres Ferrer. Its reverse side depicts a three-toed sloth in a rainforest surrounded by orchid flowers. Security features include a motion windowed security thread, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Jose Figueres Ferrer with an electrotype 10000. The green banknote is 146 mm x 67 mm in size and is signed by Olivier Castro Perez and Eduardo Prado Zuniga. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
