This uncirculated 10,000 Costa Rican colon banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica that is dated 10 September 2014 and signed by Olivier Castro Perez and Eduardo Prado Zuñiga. It is a green note that measures 146 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a soldier with a rifle, the abolition of the army, a map of Costa Rica in OVI, and a portrait of Jose Figueres Ferrer. Its reverse side depicts a three-toed sloth in a rainforest surrounded by orchid flowers. Security features include a motion windowed security thread, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Jose Figueres Ferrer with an electrotype 10000.
