The Costa Rica 10,000 Colones Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 2019, printed on polymer. The note’s obverse depicts a portrait of Jose Figueres Ferrer. In the background is Jose Figueres Ferrer abolishing the Costa Rican army. Its reverse displays a rainforest, a three-toed sloth, two birds, cup mushrooms, and an orchid flower. Its watermark reveals a clear window with a holographic coat of arms and portrait of Jose Figueres Ferrer. It also contains a simulated security thread. It is 139 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
