The Costa Rica 100 Colones was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 1992. The specimen banknote comes in a color combination of black, aqua, and orange. Its obverse bears a diagonal red ESPECIMEN SIN VALOR overprint and features Ricardo Jimenez Oreamuno. The reverse depicts the Supreme Court building in San Jose. It has a solid security thread with printed BCCR 100 and a watermark that reveals a BCCR 100 pattern. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size. This particular specimen banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP Authenticated.
