The Costa Rica 100 Colones was released in 1992 with a pick number P-258s. The banknote that comes in olive green, purple, red, and light blue color combinations features on its obverse Gaspar Ortuno y Ors and an 1866 50-centavo coin. The banknotes reverse depicts the building of the Bank of Costa Rica in 1877 and a horse-drawn carriage. The 156 x 67 mm paper bill bears watermark and security thread varieties. This particular specimen banknote is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated.
