This uncirculated 2,000 Costa Rican colon banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica. It is a blue banknote that is dated 16 September 2015, bear the signatures of Olivier Castro Perez and Eduardo Prado Zuñiga, and measures 132 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the Colegio Superior de Senoritas building, a portrait of Mauro Fernandez Acuna, an OVI map of Costa Rica, and open books. Its reverse side depicts a coral reef, a starfish, a bull shark, turtles, and corals. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BCCR 2000 and a watermark of Mauro Fernandez Acuna with an electrotype 2000.
